What is the difference between flammable cabinets and corrosive cabinets?
Thank you for contacting us! The main difference between the flammable cabinets and the corrosive cabinets is just going to be in terms of color/liquid you are storing in the cabinet. Flammable and Safety Cabinets are typically designed with either a red, blue, green or yellow exterior. These colors are part of a recommendation used to designate the material you are storing inside the cabinet.
Color options are as follows:
Yellow: Standard Flammable Cabinet
Blue: Acids/Corrosive Liquid Storage
Red: Paints, Inks, Aerosol Containers
In terms of sizing and specifications, the two cabinets (flammable and corrosive cabinet) should be very similar, if not identical, depending on the manufacturer of the cabinet.
If you have any additional questions or would like information and/or pricing on one of the cabinets, please do not hesitate to contact us at 888-611-3036 or send us an email: email@example.com.
